Qualifications

• At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience across all age groups.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• May require Louisiana Medical Lab Assistant license within 6 months if performing waived/moderate testing.

Responsabilités

• Identify patients and collect samples according to protocol to ensure sample quality.
• Label specimens accurately and prepare them for laboratory analysis.
• Plan and organize duties; maintain supplies to ensure efficient operations.
• Provide supervision/training to junior phlebotomists when needed.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards.
• Support testing procedures and bedside testing where applicable.
