Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Houston, TX seeks a Phlebotomist III to join a Monday–Friday schedule 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with rotational weekends. The role requires accurate venipuncture, patient identification, and adherence to testing protocols to support high-quality lab results.

You will work at Patient Service Centers or Client Offices, handle complex collections, mentor colleagues, and ensure a professional patient experience while complying with safety and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• Three years of phlebotomy experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collections including venipuncture and capillary draws with high accuracy.
• Obtain patient identification and signature to ensure labeling accuracy and enter data as needed.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing, including labeling and storage as required.
• Provide professional, respectful service to patients and clients, and answer questions.
• Mentor colleagues on advanced collection techniques and best practices.
