Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist II for the Bloomfield, NJ location to draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for laboratory testing. You will interact with patients, explain procedures, and maintain accurate records in a professional setting.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of phlebotomy experience, NJ licensure, and a background in a Patient Service Center or retail/service environment. Proficiency in data entry and strong customer service are required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred.
3 years of phlebotomy experience needed.
Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
State of Credentials Licenses Required: NJ License REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

Represents the face of the company to patients who come in, both as part of routine health visits or health insights.
Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares specimens for lab testing following established procedures.
Creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures and drawing blood in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
Demonstrates Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence and confidentiality of patient information.
Under the direction of the area supervisor, performs daily activities accurately and on time, maintains a safe and professional environment, maintains required records and documentation.
