Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy/venipuncture course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures for collecting and processing biological specimens, handle STAT samples expediently.
• Register tests and manage requisitions in the laboratory information system.
• Provide patient care, educate staff as a preceptor, and escalate issues to leadership.
• Answer phones and assist with lab report distribution as needed.
