Job summary

You will process, label, transport specimens and enter data into the Laboratory Information System, delivering safe, patient‑centered care while adapting to technical challenges as they arise.

The role requires collaboration with the healthcare team, strong organizational skills, basic computer literacy, and attention to specimen requirements.

Qualifications

• 3 months of phlebotomy work or training experience including data entry and specimen handling.
• Neonatal/pediatric phlebotomy experience preferred.
• CPT – Certification preferred for Phlebotomy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Follows procedure for collecting and processing specimens; handles STAT samples as needed.
• Performs data entry and uses Laboratory Information System to manage records.
• Organizes workload, prioritizes tasks, and collaborates with the care team.
