Emerson Hospital in Concord, MA is seeking a Sr. Phlebotomist to collect high-quality blood specimens and ensure accurate laboratory processing under supervision.

You will perform venipuncture on patients of all ages, enter requisitions into LIS, and maintain strict safety and confidentiality while delivering excellent patient service.

Flexibility to travel between locations and collaborate with clinical teams is required.

Formación

• Minimum of three years of phlebotomy experience.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Clear communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Proficiency with computer systems and data entry.
• Travel between locations as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on patients of all ages (pediatric through adult).
• Accurately label, process, and accession specimens in accordance with established protocols.
• Accurately register patients and enter orders into the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
• Enter patient and specimen data into laboratory systems with a high level of accuracy.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive patient experience.
• Collaborate effectively with clinical and laboratory teams.
• Adapt to changing priorities and support coverage at multiple locations as needed.
