Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned phlebotomist to join our clinical support team. Based in a U.S. office, you will verify test requisitions, collect blood samples via venipuncture or finger sticks, and ensure specimen integrity through aseptic procedures while maintaining patient safety.

You will track blood draws, print patient reports, and collaborate with physicians, nursing stations, and reference labs. The role requires HIPAA compliance, timely training, and adherence to hospital policies;

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of phlebotomy experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Phlebotomy Certificate if required by the state.
  • Ability to adhere to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and JCAHO standards.
  • Ability to work in an office setting with scrubs required.
  • Ability to track each blood draw.
  • Must complete HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance, and security training within the first 30 days of hire.
  • Must maintain current status on Natera training requirements.
  • BS/BA degree preferred.
