Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for the Kuiper program to advance phased array antenna design, calibration, and system integration in Redmond, WA.

You will lead design, simulation, and lab validation, collaborating with RF, digital, and antenna teams to deliver high-performance satellite communication systems. Requires 7+ years in aerospace/semiconductor sectors and strong Python/C++ coding, Linux, and CI/CD experience.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of work experience in Aerospace/Semiconductor/Consumer Electronics.
• BS in Electrical Engineering with coursework in digital communication, DSP, RF/microwave engineering.
• Strong coding in Python/C++ and scripting skills.
• Experience with Linux/Unix and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with lab equipment (VSA/VSG/VNA/oscilloscopes).

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing phased array calibration systems and algorithms.
• Performing performance analysis and trade-off studies for phased arrays.
• End-to-end modeling and analysis of baseband/RF/antenna systems.
• Lab measurement and validation of antennas and phased arrays.
• Collaborating with antenna, modem, RF and Digital teams to optimize designs.
