Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Phased Array Architect to lead the design and delivery of next-generation antenna systems for Kuiper. You will guide RF, digital, and hardware teams, drive architecture aligned with performance and reliability, and mentor engineers to build scalable, high-volume production-ready solutions.

Export control requires U.S. citizenship/national status or equivalent, with compensation including base salary and RSUs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
7+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products on tight deadlines.
Experience in phased array design principles including beamforming, steering, and calibration.
Experience with RF front-end design, high-speed digital systems, and signal integrity.
Experience with system modeling tools and architectural design methodologies.

Responsibilities

Define and lead the architectural vision for advanced phased array antenna systems.
Serve as the technical authority on phased array systems and roadmap decisions.
Drive system-level design and optimization across RF, digital, and hardware teams.
Oversee system integration between phased array systems, RF front-ends, and digital beamforming.
Guide cross-functional teams to meet performance, power, and thermal targets.
Collaborate with product management, supply chain, and operations to align with business goals.
Set direction for manufacturability and testability for high-volume production.
Mentor and develop junior engineers to foster technical excellence.
