Job summary
Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Software Engineer For Antenna Systems in Redmond, WA. You will collaborate with system architects, hardware and FW/SW teams to bring up and test highly integrated systems combining FPGA, firmware, RF, and networking functions.
The role focuses on developing tools, automating hardware tests, and advancing 2D/3D design automation for phased array systems, while mentoring peers and leading architectural decisions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Systems Architects, Hardware Engineering Design Teams & FW/SW Design Teams to bring up and test systems.
- Develop tools for FPGA, firmware, RF and networking integration.
- Characterize subsystems and antennas and related hardware.
- Build advanced 2D/3D design automation tools for system bring-up.
- Develop bring up tools and scripts for phased array systems.
- Support hardware test automation and complex data storage tasks.
- Contribute to application development across the satellite system stack.
