Job summary

Hyosung HICO Ltd is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Technician for phase assembly on the 2nd shift in Memphis, TN. The role covers assembly, disassembly and installation of Transformer components, troubleshooting manufacturing processes, and ensuring quality per specifications.

The candidate will support engineering and manufacturing inquiries, provide solutions for tooling and setup issues, and contribute to continuous improvement in a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; plus four years' prior manufacturing experience or equivalent education/training.
• Advanced mechanical/technical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience reading manufacturing drawings/specifications, prints or work instructions.
• Developed math and geometry skills.
• Knowledge and use of basic industrial measuring tools.
• Developed skills in the proper use of various hand and power tools.
• Basic computer skills with emphasis on MS Office products.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, disassembly and installation of components with tight tolerances.
• Troubleshoot problems with materials, prints, or equipment, and aid corrective actions.
• Ensure product quality meets specifications and documented criteria.
• Follow standard work procedures to meet safety, quality, cost and productivity standards.
• Perform TPM and preventative maintenance on tools and machines.
• Assist in training of new employees and in troubleshooting improvements.
• Operate powered equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes.
