Job summary

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services a part of The Cigna Group, is seeking a pharmacy technician associate to join our Corona, CA location. You'll help process and ship medications to patients who rely on us.

This on-site role runs Monday–Friday, 9a–6p, and requires a California pharmacy technician license plus 1+ year of relevant experience. You’ll work in a fast-paced pharmacy environment with comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Pharmacy technician license in the state of California.
• 1+ year of relevant experience.
• Basic math and computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate peak volume times.

Responsibilities

• Process new and refill prescription requests.
• Select and retrieve appropriate medications.
• Verify quantities and prepare accurate labels.
• Send orders to pharmacy staff for completion and verification of prescription-based programs.
• Prepare packages for shipment.
• Clean equipment and refill workstation supplies.
• Learn new internal systems and processes.
• Perform other tasks as needed in a fast-paced, pharmacy production setting.
