Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services and part of The Cigna Group, is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Technician in Elmhurst, IL. The role focuses on processing, dispensing and shipping specialty prescriptions, with leadership duties for a team and ensuring safety and accuracy in all tasks.

The position requires an Illinois Pharmacy Technician license, 1+ year experience, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Illinois state Pharmacy Technician license required.
• 1+ years Pharmacy Technician work experience required.
• General PC knowledge and e-mail abilities.
• Knowledge of dispensing pharmacy concepts and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Responsabilités

• Ensure accurate distribution of workload within the assigned area and back fill as needed.
• Operate production equipment and monitor performance (labels, printers, restocking).
• Inform teams of equipment issues and coordinate with supervisor.
• Serve as a resource and back-up to team members; provide coaching as needed.
• Support productivity, quality and safety goals; help develop policies and procedures.
• Assist in training and validating technician staff; provide one-on-one and group sessions.
