Job summary

Walgreens in Tulsa, Oklahoma seeks a Certified Senior Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists by entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, verifying accuracy, and assisting with inventory and cash handling. Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification is required.
• At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists under supervision with entry of patient and drug information.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications; verify accuracy.
• Assist with scheduling, workflow, and pharmacy operations.
• Process (correct and resubmit) manual third-party prescription claims.
• Lead inventory management activities and support KPI review.
• Support clinical services and coordination with healthcare providers as required.
• Maintain compliance with policies including Good Faith Dispensing.
• Handle cash and assist customers at the POS, guiding to OTC products.
• Maintain relationships with local medical community and external providers.

Education

PTCB or ExCPT certification

1 year of pharmacy technician experience

Fluent English

Flexibility to work evenings/weekends

Willingness to obtain immunization certification in 90 days
