Job summary

Walgreens in Memphis, TN is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions, entering patient data, and ensuring accuracy of medications. You will help manage inventory, assist with workflow, and engage customers to provide excellent service.

Candidates should have a current PTCB or ExCPT certification and at least one year of retail or hospital pharmacy experience. English fluency and flexibility for evenings/weekends are required.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy, Health System Pharmacy locations, or in locations where this role is covered under a collective bargaining agreement)

Responsibilities

• Assist in entering patient and drug information in pharmacy systems.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring pharmaceuticals.
• Support scheduling and workflow under supervision of Pharmacist/Store Manager.
• Lead inventory management activities and track Rx KPIs.
• Assist with clinical services coordination and patient outreach.
