Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician at the Travelers Rest, SC location. Under supervision by the pharmacist, you will assist in dispensing prescriptions, enter patient and drug information, and support workflow in the pharmacy.

You will maintain inventory, help with third-party claims, and provide friendly customer service while upholding Walgreens policies and quality standards. A PTCB or ExCPT certification and at least 1 year of retail or hospital experience are required.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in PR).
• One year of pharmacy tech experience in retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists under supervision with dispensing and entering patient data.
• Maintain accurate medication inventory and assist with ordering and stocking.
• Process prescriptions, verify medicine, and resolve issues with third-party programs.
• Provide courteous customer service at the counter and direct customers to OTC products.
