Job summary

Qualifications

• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy under supervision.
• Operate pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and enter patient information.
• Coach technicians in pharmacy system use and cashiers in register operations.
• Engage with customers to deliver a distinctive Walgreens experience.
• Handle prescription processing, inventory, and claims coordination.
• Support pharmacy manager and staff pharmacist in clinical services and coordination with providers.
