Qualifications

• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy, Health System Pharmacy locations, or where covered by a collective bargaining agreement).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the practice of pharmacy under supervision by the pharmacist, using pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications, verifying accuracy and checking for interactions.
• Leads pharmacy department inventory management activities and supports related financial and operational KPIs.
• Process manual claims for third party prescription services and perform clerical duties as assigned.
• Assist with clinical services coordination and engagement with local healthcare providers.
