Walgreens in California seeks a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist in daily operations and ensure accurate prescription processing. You will use pharmacy systems to retrieve patient data, assist with inventory, and maintain a high standard of customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include supporting cash handling, scheduling, and basic clinical service coordination. Prior Walgreens experience and PTCB certification are preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.

Formación

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for filling prescriptions, including counting, measuring and weighing medications.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking of pharmaceuticals.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Register sales, handle cash, and assist customers to locate products.
• Support pharmacy department on clerical tasks and workflow management.
• Assist with clinical services coordination and outreach to health providers.
