Job summary

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy, Health System Pharmacy locations, or in locations with a bargaining agreement).

Responsibilities

• Assist in dispensing prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems.
• Verify medicines and check for possible interactions.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in workflow and inventory.
• Process manual third-party claims and related clerical duties.
• Maintain accuracy of cash handling and customer assistance on the floor.
• Assist with Pharmacy Department inventory management and KPI reviews.
• Support coordination of clinical services and external providers as required.
