Job summary

Under pharmacist supervision, you'll handle prescription data entry, patient registration, vaccine administration, and inventory tasks, while leading training and ensuring compliance. You will engage customers, resolve issues, and participate in community outreach to build a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (where required).

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients, answering non-clinical questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Supports pharmacist in patient care activities: data entry, registration, medication preparation, and calls.
• Assists with vaccines, health screenings, and other allowed health services under supervision.
• Ensures compliance with policies and laws; delegates non-clinical tasks as appropriate.
• Maintains inventory and records; supports financial and operational performance.
• Manages training, coaching, and performance of technicians; supports hiring and scheduling.
