Job summary

Walgreens in Ohio is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in dispensing and customer service. You will assist with prescriptions, data entry, and inventory management to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

Under supervision, you will help with workflow, learn pharmacy procedures, and participate in clinical services as needed. Fluency in English and a flexible schedule are required.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy, Health System Pharmacy locations, or in locations where this role is covered under a collective bargaining agreement)

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions and maintaining pharmacy workflow.
• Enter patient and drug information accurately using pharmacy systems.
• Manage pharmacy inventory and process third party claims efficiently.
• Coordinate with medical staff and health providers to support clinical services.
