Overview

This is a remote traveling position for highly motivated Pharmacy Technicians capable of collaborating with pharmacy staff, Directors, and operational teams to ensure pharmacy success. The role requires understanding all technician functions, leadership, strategizing, and project management skills. Candidates should live west of the Mississippi, near an airport, and be adaptable to a fast-paced environment. Licenses required include PTCB and/or state licensure.

Responsibilities

On-Site Collaboration

• Implement workflow and productivity measures
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations
• Monitor purchasing and inventory
• Ensure safe procurement, storage, and disposal of drugs

Technician Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions, package medications, and prepare medications including non-sterile compounding
• Work in controlled substances room, manage inventory, input data, and assist in IV preparation

Project Management

• Estimate and plan work, monitor progress, participate in policy tasks, and contribute to outcomes planning

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• 5+ years LTC technician and leadership experience; 10+ preferred
• State licensure and national certification required
• Travel 75%+
