Job summary

Central Florida Health Care, Inc. seeks a Senior Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists and oversee daily pharmacy operations. This role reports to the Health Center Administrator and emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and customer service.

The position requires pharmacy program graduation or HS diploma with a pharmacy certificate, Florida registration, BLS, and at least 2 years in a pharmacy setting. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong leadership are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy Program or HS Diploma/GED with Pharmacy program certificate.
• Florida Board of Pharmacy Registration.
• Active Pharmacy Technician Licensure (National) preferred.
• Active BLS.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience.
• Computer literacy; basic MS Office skills.
• Strong leadership abilities.
• Understanding of use of pharmacy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow CFHC policies and comply with state and federal regulations.
• Ensure compliance with Exposure Control Plan by support staff.
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
• Oversee cash handling, tills accuracy, and daily deposits reconciliation.
• Handle calls not requiring pharmacist attention and coordinate with physicians.
• Process third-party claims efficiently and support audits.
• Lead pharmacy inventory management activities and address discrepancies.
• Assist pharmacists in finance, customer service, and performance metrics.
