Job summary

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pharmacy practice under pharmacist supervision and adhere to policy.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring drugs; verify accuracy and potential interactions.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and assist with ordering, receiving, and storage.
• Register sales at cash register and assist customers in locating products.
• Process manual third-party claims and support clerical duties as needed.
• Coordinate clinical services and support Walgreens healthcare clinics as required.
• Engage with local medical community to support growth opportunities.
