Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy, Health System Pharmacy locations, or in locations where this role is covered under a collective bargaining agreement)

Responsibilities

• Assist under pharmacist supervision in dispensing and entering patient data.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications; verify accuracy and interactions.
• Support scheduling and workflow management; assist in inventory control.
• Process manual claims for third-party prescription services in a timely manner.
• Lead pharmacy department inventory management and related tasks.
• Assist customers to OTC aisles and provide accurate information as needed.
• Contribute to pharmacy financial, customer service and KPI tracking.
• Assist with clinical services coordination when required.
