Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in dispensing medications, maintaining patient records, and supporting daily store pharmacy operations in Orlando, FL. You will help with inventory, third-party claims, and customer service to ensure accurate, timely service.

The ideal candidate holds PTCB/ExCPT certification and at least one year of retail or hospital pharmacy experience, with a willingness to work evenings/weekends and pursue immunization certification within 90

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and entering patient info into pharmacy systems.
• Help with inventory management, ordering, and handling warehouse overages/shortages.
• Assist customers at the OTC aisles and on the phone, including non-personal calls to physicians.
• Process third party claims for prescription services and perform clerical duties as assigned.
• Support pharmacy team to improve financial, customer service and KPI performance.
