Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year of experience.
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician by the State of South Carolina Board of Pharmacy (SCBOP) and national certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) is required.
• At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience and experience in sterile compounding preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist a registered pharmacist with dispensing prescriptions and related processes.
• Collect, input, and verify prescription, refill, and patient information.
• Receive and stock incoming supplies.
• Prepare labels and routine prepacked orders.
• May perform clerical duties relating to the department.
