Job summary

Walgreens is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist. Under supervision, you will dispense prescriptions, verify medication accuracy, and maintain inventory while delivering excellent customer service.

You will process claims, assist with clinical services coordination, and help ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies. English fluency and willingness to work evenings/weekends are essential.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions and maintaining workflow.
• Enter patient and drug information accurately in pharmacy systems.
• Handle cash register duties and assist customers at OTC aisles when possible.
• Lead inventory management: ordering, receiving, storing pharmaceutical goods.
