Job summary

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification is required (except Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision to dispense prescriptions, enter patient and drug information, and ensure accuracy.
• Process manual and third-party prescription claims promptly.
• Lead pharmacy department inventory activities and support cash register operations.
• Provide courteous customer assistance and guide customers to OTC products when possible.
