VCU Health is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician III to support pharmacists in providing pharmaceutical care, including preparation, dispensing, and record-keeping across neonatal to geriatric patients. The role covers various specialized service lines and requires at least three years of pharmacy practice experience and VA Board licensure.

Candidates must hold PTCB or ExCPT certification and be willing to work all shifts, including weekends.

Formación

• Three years of previous pharmacy practice experience.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Typing speed 20-30 words per minute.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate competency in CPhT I and II responsibilities.
• Serve as designated trainer to other team members and students within specialized area.
• Maintain paperwork and logs as required within specialized area.
• Serve as Technician-In-Charge during weekends or in absence.
• Support pharmacy department beyond specialized area, within scope of skillset.

Conocimientos

Typing speed 20-30 wpm

Three years pharmacy practice

Leadership experience (preferred)

Educación

High school diploma or equivalent

CSPT Certification or PTCB AB programs (preferred)
