• Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with state and federal regulations. Support Pharmacy Department duties following company policies and procedures.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and coach pharmacy technicians and cashiers in system use and cash register operation.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging customers, resolving issues, and developing strong relationships with valuable customers.
• Assist in pharmacy operations including entering patient and drug info, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and managing inventory, under pharmacist supervision.
• Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to pharmacy dispensing policies, including Good Faith Dispensing.
• Handle sales transactions, assist customers in locating products, and process third-party prescription claims.
• Support clinical services, maintain pharmacy cleanliness and supplies, and foster good relationships with healthcare providers.
• Maintain PTCB certification, attend training, and acquire continuing education credits. Prior experience as a pharmacy technician and bilingual skills are preferred.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, with prior Walgreens experience preferred.
