Orlando Health South Lake Hospital in Clermont, FL is seeking a Pharmacy Tech III to support daily distribution and operations within the Pharmacy department.

The role requires a high school diploma, Florida Pharmacy Technician registration, CPht certification, and more than four years of experience, with opportunities for cross-training and advancement. This position offers competitive pay and day shifts in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Pharmacy Technician registration with the Florida State Board of Pharmacy is required.
• CPht certificate from a nationally recognized program (e.g., PTCB, ICPT) is required.
• More than four years of experience as a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safety, emergency and risk management procedures.
• Aligns with hospital mission and customer service goals for Pharmacy.
• Familiar with general duties and processes of the Pharmacy department.
• Identifies and uses resources for customer service and patient care needs.
• Operates equipment required for pharmacy procedures per policy.
• Assists Pharmacist with medication distribution and aseptic techniques.
• Maintains USP 797 standards and proper disposal requirements.
• May cross-train to support specialty pharmacy functions.
• Completes special projects and maintains attendance and policy compliance.
