Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintains current Pharmacy Technician registration with the Florida State Board of Pharmacy.
• Greater than one year up to four years of experience as a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Assists with operational and distribution responsibilities related to Pharmacy Technician functions including Orlando Health software and hardware systems.
• Demonstrates understanding of safety, emergency, and risk management procedures.
• Ensures adherence to hospital mission, policies, and customer service goals of the Pharmacy and Orlando Health.
• Operates equipment required for pharmacy procedures in line with safety regulations and procedures.
• Assists Pharmacist in duties pertaining to medication distribution and aseptic admixture techniques.
• Maintains USP 797 standards and other regulatory documentation.
• Maintains compliance with Orlando Health policies and procedures.
