Job summary

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of the pharmacist, assist in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with policy.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications.
• Verify medicine accuracy and check for interactions; assist with scheduling and workflow.
