Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Apprentice in Illinois. You will interact with customers, help process prescriptions, and support pharmacists in a patient-centered environment.

You will use pharmacy systems, assist with inventory, and participate in training to earn or maintain PTCB certification. Prior Walgreens experience and strong math and computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in processing prescriptions and patient information.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Assist with inventory management and clerical duties in the Pharmacy Department.
• Handle cash transactions and guide customers to OTC products.
• Support coordination with healthcare providers and clinical services as needed.
