Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacist in daily operations, accurate prescription processing, patient interactions, and inventory management. You will assist with dispensing, verify orders, and help ensure quality and safety in a fast-paced retail pharmacy.

The role requires PTCB or ExCPT certification, 1 year of experience, fluency in English, and flexibility for evenings/weekends. Prior Walgreens experience and basic PC skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except Puerto Rico).
• One year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision with dispensing prescriptions and labeling.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems accurately.
• Support inventory management and pharmacy department workflow.
• Refer customers to pharmacists for clinical services and questions.
