Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking a seasoned pharmacy consultant to lead engagements across multiple client accounts in the United States. You will collaborate with health-system executives, pharmacy leaders, clinicians, and Vizient teams to optimize pharmacy programs and deliver measurable clinical and financial results.

You will develop strategic recommendations, guide implementation, and contribute to the ongoing development of consulting solutions and services. Travel will be required.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree required (PharmD or BSPharm).
• Master’s in business or health administration preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant experience required.
• Health-system pharmacy practice experience required.
• Experience with pharmacy programs and driving strategic clinical, operational, and financial recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate consulting activities across multiple client accounts and project teams.
• Lead project teams to achieve deliverables within timelines and budgets.
• Assess pharmacy and medication management programs across health systems and clinics.
• Develop strategic operating plans using industry-leading practices and benchmarks.
• Lead formulary management and therapeutic interchange initiatives to improve value and utilization.
• Deliver advisory services translating insights into measurable client outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and client executives to support execution and sustained results.
• Create and deliver presentations and recommendations to senior executives.
