Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Inventory Analyst to optimize inventory across ~8,900 CVS Pharmacy locations and support about $6B in standing inventory. You will build data models using SQL, Snowflake and Python to drive replenishment actions and improve service levels.

You will collaborate with store teams and warehouses, analyze inventory metrics, and recommend efficiency opportunities. A Bachelor’s in a related field and 2+ years in supply chain analytics are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience of Supply Chain, Inventory Management or Merchandising.
• Minimum 2 years of experience of Data Analytics or Statistical Analysis utilizing SQL, Snowflake, Python or similar data manipulation language.
• Minimum 2 years of experience advanced MS Excel.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with Inventory metrics and how those metrics influence each other.
• Minimum 1 year of experience building inventory and replenishment models, simulation algorithms or what-if tools, incorporating multiple variables, for use in estimating downstream impacts of various business changes.

Responsibilities

• Resolve data-driven actions to support business changes like product sourcing or seasonality.
• Build models (SQL/Snowflake/Python) to highlight impact of changes and monitor mitigation efforts.
• Identify opportunities to invest or deleverage inventory at store level for efficiency and service.
• Analyze and act on defined service level gaps and store-type variations.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis using in-store and central databases to fulfill partner requests.
