Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Patient Care Services Manager to lead Pharmacy Care and Specialty Care initiatives across our pharmacies. You will supervise pharmacists, train staff, and drive the PCS sales plan, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Degree in Pharmacy required (B.S. or Pharm. D.).
• Knowledge of state, federal, and company policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Albertsons Pharmacy practices, including inventory control, third party programs generic usage.
• Knowledge of Pharmacy Care licensing and certification.
• Knowledge of financial reports and their use.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacists for the implementation of Pharmacy Care and Specialty Care services in Company pharmacies.
• Train, develop, monitor and mentor pharmacists at store level to implement PC programs.
• Provide PC goals and participate in the Pharmacy Care sales plan and annual reviews.
• Serve as SME for program(s) and assist other pharmacists in implementing care services.
• Ensure compliance with Board of Pharmacy regulations and licensing requirements.
• Ensure CLIA compliance by pharmacies and BBP exposure control.
• Provide CPR training and immunization certificate training for staff.
• Develop relationships to capture sales with entities using PC/SC services.
• Represent PCS in state immunization coalitions and health events.
