Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Consultant, Pharmacy Consulting within the Employer Health team to advise on PBM strategy, contracting, and financial performance for U.S. clients. You will lead or support RFPs, analyze pricing, and help clients optimize costs and risk across pharmacy benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of consulting or brokerage experience supporting U.S. health and welfare benefits programs.
• 5+ years of experience leading or supporting PBM RFPs, incl. pricing analysis and vendor evaluation.
• 5 years' experience analyzing PBM contract financial components and underwriting health and welfare benefits.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate PBM contracts, deal terms, financial proposals, performance guarantees, and pricing arrangements.
• Lead or support PBM and health/welfare RFPs, including pricing analysis, vendor evaluation, negotiation, and implementation.
• Analyze pharmacy claims, utilization and financial data; prepare self-insured projections; support premium-rate and admin-fee renewal decisions.
• Develop health and group benefits strategies, benchmarking analyses, and regulatory guidance.
• Manage client projects, present client-ready reports, partner with HR teams, mentor juniors.
