Job summary

Tarsus Pharmaceuticals seeks a Scientist, Pharmacology to partner scientifically across discovery and early clinical development. You will plan nonclinical programs, manage outsourced studies, and interpret results for regulatory materials.

The role emphasizes MOA work, risk assessment, and cross-functional collaboration. You will support late-stage programs initially and help shape the portfolio as priorities evolve, with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in pharmacology, biology, toxicology or related life-sciences field with 3+ years experience (or 5+ years with Bachelor's/Master's).
• Experience supporting in vitro and in vivo research to elucidate MOA, target identification or compound screening.
• Ability to review literature, protocols, data and docs; translate into actionable conclusions.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills for multiple studies, vendors and priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for scientific reports and regulatory documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute nonclinical in vitro and in vivo studies.
• Lead outsourced study execution, manage CROs, budgets and timelines.
• Coordinate study supply, sample shipment, in-life monitoring with CROs and partners.
• Review protocols and data, ensure scientific quality and alignment with program needs.
• Communicate study findings through reports, summaries and presentations.
• Draft and QC nonclinical study reports and regulatory content.
