Welcome to the Tarsanet Internal Career Center! is seeking a Director of Pharmacology to act as a scientific and strategic partner, bridging discovery and early clinical development.

You will lead translational efforts in ophthalmology-related biology, identify dosing and MOA considerations, and guide external collaborations. This role reports to the VP, Translational Science and offers potential to build and lead a translational team.

Qualifications

• PhD or MD/PhD with 10+ years in pharma/biotech.
• Experience defining translational strategies and MOA.
• Excellent oral and written communication; able to influence multiple functions.
• Independent, proactive self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Subject Matter Expert in pharmacology and drug target biology.
• Establish external partnerships with KOLs, academia and external partners.
• Partner with Clinical Development, BD and Innovation Lab across departments.
• Drive translational strategy and Go/No-Go decisions for assets.
• Oversee non-clinical experiments supporting MOA and disease biology understanding.
