Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Pharmacy) or PharmD required.
• State Pharmacist License required without restrictions.
• 1+ years of related experience preferred/required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare medications for final dispensing to patients.
• Review orders and cycle-fill medications for accuracy.
• Verify dispensing legality and feasibility based on allergies, interactions, and refills.
• Interpret prescriptions with professional judgement for patient safety.
• Adhere to Federal and State Board regulations and compounding guidelines.
• Transfer prescriptions as needed.
• Answer questions from patients, doctors, or nurses.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed.
• Oversee technicians and provide feedback to supervisor.
• Log error medication occurrences.
