Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy Services in Columbus, OH is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role offers a salary range of $120,000 to $140,000 and a Monday–Friday schedule with weekend rotation, reflecting our commitment to work-life balance.

You will accurately prepare medications, review orders, verify dispensing legality, and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Pharmacy) or PharmD required.
• State Pharmacist License required without restrictions.
• 1+ years of related experience.
• Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred/required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare medications for final dispensing to the patient, including filling, order entry, and packaging.
• Review completed orders and cycle-fill medications to ensure prescriptions were filled correctly.
• Verify the legality and pharmaceutical feasibility of dispensing a drug based on patients' allergies, interactions, and refills.
• Interpret prescription orders and exercise professional judgment for safe dispensing.
• Adhere to Federal and State Board of Pharmacy regulations and compounding guidelines.
• Transfer prescriptions to other pharmacies when needed.
• Answer questions from patients, doctors, and nurses.
• Oversee technicians and provide feedback to supervisors.
