Job summary

Alcami Corporation is seeking a Sr. Pharmaceutical Maintenance Technician to support HVAC, utilities, electrical and mechanical maintenance in a FDA-registered pharmaceutical processing environment on a 1st shift (Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:00pm) on-site in Wilmington, NC.

Expect on-call rotations and stringent cGMP compliance. The role requires hands-on maintenance expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently within a small, fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ years in a regulated environment (FDA, NRC or similar).
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and clear communication.
• Pharma cGMP experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Electrical license / Journeyman's card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Air Handlers, Chillers, Boilers, USP water systems and other utilities.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment and record data per SOPs and cGMP.
• Install and retrofit facilities equipment per SOPs and cGMP.
• Support startup, shutdown, commissioning, and qualification activities for critical facility systems.
• Perform repairs to equipment and plant safely and efficiently.
• Follow Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment with owners, engineers, and vendors; develop solutions.
• Lead tasks and contribute to team performance.
