Job summary

Steri Pharma seeks an experienced Maintenance & Engineering Manager to lead a team of maintenance technicians in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment in New York. You will drive maintenance strategy, asset care, and project execution for facilities and equipment.

The role emphasizes leadership, compliance with cGMP, safety, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced pharma setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years’ experience leading and managing maintenance technicians and/or engineers.
• Knowledge of cGMP, GMP and regulatory inspections for pharmaceuticals.
• Experience with maintenance budgets and equipment/ facility projects.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and improve maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Leads a maintenance team to minimize waste and downtime while maximizing OEE and yield.
• Develops maintenance vision, mission, strategies and goals for the site.
• Manages maintenance budgets and supports project engineering for facilities and equipment.
• Ensures compliance with safety, GMP, SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Provides technical leadership and coaching; develops SOPs and job plans.
