Job summary

MMR Consulting seeks an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team for client-site engagements in the pharmaceutical/biotech sector. You will support design reviews, commissioning, and validation of electrical equipment and systems across Low and Medium Voltage projects.

Ideal candidates will have 6-8+ years of relevant experience, leadership ability, and the capacity to coordinate multiple stakeholders across project phases, including design through startup, with strict adherence

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is not specified but experience is required.
6-8+ years of experience in electrical engineering and electrical construction.
Experience with Low and Medium Voltage systems up to 10 kV is desirable.

Responsibilities

Review designs/submittals from A/E firms, vendor drawings, and submittals to ensure owner requirements are met.
Oversee electrical projects end to end from design to commissioning and close-out.
Provide guidance in design, project management, commissioning, validation, and startup of electrical equipment and systems.
Review technical data sheets and drawings for equipment and systems across LV and MV voltages.
Perform field walks to review progress and correctness of field activities.
Coordinate meetings with cross-functional departments to drive project progress and decisions.
Prepare, review, and execute commissioning protocols and reports.
Work at client facilities and comply with client safety rules.
