Job summary

MMR Consulting is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to support client facilities in Raleigh, NC. You will review designs, oversee end-to-end electrical projects from design through commissioning, and provide technical guidance across multiple disciplines.

The role requires 6-8+ years in electrical engineering, knowledge of LV/MV systems up to 10 kV, and hands-on leadership to coordinate with contractors and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

6-8+ years of experience in electrical engineering and electrical construction.
Knowledge of low and medium voltage systems up to 10kV.
Experience with switchgear, switchboards, lighting controls, and UPS.

Responsibilities

Review designs and submittals from A/E firms to meet owner requirements.
Oversee electrical projects end to end from design through commissioning/close-out.
Provide technical guidance in design, commissioning and startup of electrical equipment and systems.
Review data sheets and drawings for LV and MV systems.
Perform field walks to review progress and correctness of field activities.
Coordinate meetings with cross-functional departments to drive progress and decisions.
Prepare, review, and execute commissioning protocols and reports.
Work onsite at client facilities and comply with client safety rules.
