Job summary

MMR Consulting, a firm serving pharma and biotech, is seeking an electrical systems engineer to join a client-site team in Raleigh, NC. You will review designs, oversee end-to-end electrical projects, and provide technical guidance across commissioning and startup.

Candidates should have 6–8+ years of experience, knowledge of low and medium voltage up to 10 kV, and experience with switchgear, switchboards, and UPS systems. Relocation or travel support may be provided for non-local candidates.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of electrical engineering and construction experience.
• Knowledge of Low and Medium Voltage systems up to 10 kV.
• Experience with switchgear, switchboards, and UPS systems.

Responsibilities

• Support customer with reviewing designs, shop drawings, and submittals to meet owner requirements.
• Oversee end-to-end electrical projects from design to commissioning and close-out.
• Provide engineering guidance across design, commissioning, validation, and startup.
• Review data sheets and drawings for equipment/systems at various voltages.
• Perform field walks to verify progress and correctness.
• Coordinate meetings with cross-functional departments to drive progress.
• Prepare, review, and execute commissioning protocols and reports.
• Ensure compliance with client safety rules on site.
